During World War II, Chrysler’s plants turned to wartime goods, making missiles and radar antennas. They also contributed to the development of the atomic bomb, as parts of the Manhattan Project. During the 1950s, the Chrysler company tried to improve styling with the Airflow models. Later, the Chrysler company started introducing the Forward Look designs, which featured sleek, stylish, and forward-thinking design.

General Motors

The General Motors Company is an American multinational automotive manufacturing company headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Founded in 1903, General Motors is one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world and is the largest automaker in the United States. General Motors dominated the global auto industry for 77 years before losing the top spot to Toyota in 2008.

Toyota

The Toyota automobile is a Japanese automobile that is made by the Toyota Motor Corporation. The company is headquartered in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan, and was founded by Kiichiro Toyoda on August 28, 1937. It is one of the world’s largest automotive companies and produces about 10 million vehicles per year.

Volkswagen

Volkswagen automobiles are manufactured in the Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony, Germany. The company is headquartered in Wolfsburg. Volkswagen automobiles are commonly abbreviated as VW.
